probably gonna have to find a way to mute their reply-posts, to only see the project updates

even if the projects ur shitting on are bad – just make a blog post or something explaining ur position and views, dont reply to random ppl who didn’t sign up for the reply-wars

@ninebark Does your home timeline get cluttered with replies to randos? That's weird, because you shouldn't receive those you're not subscribed to in the chain. Although, some replies still may slip in, as I experience once in 4 months, but that's only from those people you are subscribed to.

@ninebark Short-term solution is to block misbehaving instances when you can identify it's their fault.

@wonderfox @ninebark It literally does not, except those few cases I encountered. You should follow users in the reply chain to receive their public posts in the home timeline. The fact that you get flooded with them means you happen to be subscribed to all those people that are having a hot time discussing something, or excess replies leak because the chain is too big to process the subscriptions (happily, it doesn't occur to me often).
